My Complete Personal Profile for now…

// March 26th, 2007 // No Comments » // Inspiration, My Journey

Well.. Today I was having a bad mood, I was late to work and many things had happened in my life. I am balancing everything very well as I constantly seeking refuge under His wings.

I really wanted to express my situation but I just don’t know how until I found a website which requries me to take some color test; so I took it and the result was amazing.. It spokes my personality and my current feelings. Thank you astromagic for sharing the website link.

Here is my Complete Personal Profile
You are the sort of person that needs a peaceful environment. You seek release from stress and freedom from conflicts and disagreements, of which you seem to have had more than your fair share. But you are taking pains to control the situation by proceeding cautiously and you are right in doing so as you are a very sensitive person.

You are feeling very vulnerable at this time. Nothing seems to be going in the right direction – business wise, private-life wise, everything. You need some emotional security and an environment which could possibly provide fewer problems, but the way you are feeling you can’t be bothered even to make the effort.

It is hard for you to accept that your needs and desires are misunderstood by almost everyone within your sphere of influence and there is no one to rely on. Your pent-up emotions and inherent egocentricity make you quick to take offence, but as matters stand you realise that you’ll have to make the best of things as they are.

You are being unduly influenced by the situation that is all around you. You do not like the feeling of loneliness and whatever it is that seems to separate you from others. You know that life can be wonderful and you are anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to live it to the full. You therefore resent any restriction or limitations that are being imposed on you and you insist on going it alone.

You wish to be left in peace… no more conflict and no more differences of opinion. In fact you just don’t want to be involved in arguments of any shape or form. All you want is for ‘them’ to get on with it – and to leave you alone.

Conference with Pat Mesiti : He was an amazing speaker…

// March 25th, 2007 // No Comments » // Inspiration, My Journey, Spiritual

Yesterday I was having difficulty going to Church to attend the conference. However I prayed to my Lord and my prayers were answered, I am blessed with a transport.

HTV! HTV
Today, I’ll be on HTV; HTV is City Harvest Church’s latest update about the church activities and event. Seriously it meant to sound like MTV, =P , however it means Harvest TV. I was interviewed by Natalie the host for HTV about, how I committed to City Harvest based on my blog which I posted, and the title is 11 March 2007 – A meaningful day in my lifetime. (Part 1 of 2). I was so excited as I am very impatient to see how the video taken. It was all fun during the video shooting, trust me, I was nervous and trembling as this is the first time I am doing it for HTV. We rehearse quite number of time and our stomach is growling for food. God was helping us in the shooting as well. During our shooting, God guide us to make sure the shooting is good, and when the shooting is bad, He will send the sound of thunder to alert us. Thank you Father.

Sharing a testimonial from Patrick and Pat
Patrick and Pat, their first pledge for building fund to City Harvest Church was 4 figure amounts. When they finally fulfill the pledge in October, Patrick was blessed with a 2006 bonus, pay rise in 2007 and praise from the top management in his career. He told us that this is God’s generosity and Patrick then decided to pledge to building fund but this time in greater amount of his first pledge. This is not the first testimony that God wanted to share with me, it had been many, knowing God that He was with us all the time had really make me so peaceful. Thank you Lord, for blessing Patrick and his family.

Pat Mesiti
He is a person live up to the nickname given by many people, Mr. Motivational. His preaching was exciting and meaningful; his expression really put us to remember certain important word of God. He was talking about giving out our treasure to God when He commanded us. There is a few reference in the Holy Bible did mentioned that once He got your treasure He will bless you with more than you pledge to Him. Pastor Pat Mesiti also share his testimonial during his public preaching in Ohio, US. A big size lady carrying 2-3 children in her hand walk up to the Pastor and tell her “God ask me to give you this one dollar, that is all I have.”. Pastor said to us that she is very poor and all she had is this one dollar that she might need it for her children. Today, this woman still keeps in touch with Pastor Pat Mesiti and he can see the progress of this woman family changing. The woman who had nothing years back, she is earning a great amount of income, she is some top executive in an organization and she never stop pledging to the church in Ohio.

It was a good sharing of loving our God and He loves you back in return. He never back away or neglect any of His children when they in tough situation

Share Prayers with me

When you have someone important in your life had fallen sick… You pray for them, let our Lord take care of them and make them feel healthy once more.

Dear Father in Heaven, I beg you to heal my beloved someone. She had been struggling through her life to fight off this illness but today comes a devasted result.

I cried to you my Lord, give her strength and faith to calm her fear and struggle. Oh! Father Lord in Heaven, plant HOPE in her and give the doctors and nurse the power of healing her illness. I know You will provide it to them and cast the illness away.

Oh Lord! I have faith that You will answer my prayers as I am your children who try to serve.

I ask this in Jesus’ name.

AMEN.

// March 12th, 2007 // No Comments » // Birthday, My Journey, Recipes

This is not just all that make today special that I have to blog 2 parts. Tomorrow is going to be Syin’s birthday. I already had a plan to give her a special treat on her birthday eve as I can’t celebrate with her on Monday. It was because she is having family dinner at Teluk Gong.

Honestly speaking, I didn’t spend a lot of money into this birthday treaty but instead I spend a lot of my effort and my skills into it. I had already plan to have a candlelight dinner in my room, so I packed my room abit but it still look messy. *SIGH*

The Menu
Alright, the maincourse I am going to cook is Chicken Chop with extremely yummy mushroom gravy and salad with extremely tasty French dressing. Comes the starter standard tin in a cup Campbell Mushroom Soup. Special add-on, just in case… Really just in case my Chicken Chop becomes Chicken Smoky, it is also my specialty that is Classic Spaghetti with PREGO sauce.

The Cooking Preparation
I start to gather the entire ingredient; I marinated the chicken chop with soy sauce and salt and left it there for about half hour. Next, I boiled the spaghetti with hot water with some olive oil and also I heat up the Campbell Mushroom Soup in can. Meanwhile, I get some garlic, onions, tomatoes and some vegetable; chopping and slicing them into desirable size. After that, its time to get the chicken into the pan, I heat up the olive oil using medium fire on stove then I place the chicken chop into the pan and fried a little. I leave it for 2 minutes before flipping it and I put some garlic and butter to make the chicken chop more tasteful. Approximately about 10-15 minutes in the pan, I put a CHEDDAR cheese slice on top for it to melt. The chicken chop is ready to MAKAN!

The best chicken chop in room!

Easy to made Mushroom Soup

Not forgetting the spaghetti, I had poured the hot water away and place spaghetti in a bowl. After that, its time for the sauces; I use a PREGO Thick Tomato sauce in a can and heat it up. The sauce looks simple and not much tasty except for the strong tomato flavor. I add a portion of the Campbell Mushroom Soup after I pour a bowl of it and the remaining I pour into the PREGO sauce and mix it. That’s not all; I add some garlic and MUSTARD sauce. MUahahahhaa.. Believe me, it taste delicious.

Everything seems to be done and Syin come over to help me carry the dishes. While she was busy organizing it, I sneak up to my room and lock the door.

The Setup
OK! Here is what I did; I got small table and a big yellow table cloth to be our dining table. I already prepared a bottle of RED Wine, 2 wine glasses, exclusive utensil, tea-light candle and table cloth. I place a covered so it doesn’t look like a bedroom while we dine. Next, music atmosphere… Hmm.. That should be BOSSA NOVA. Hahaha.. Damn budget man! Once I set up the table ala American fine dining style, I unlock the door and carry the food together with Syin.

Surprise! Surprise!
The minute she steps into the room, she was all smiling and I know deep down inside she very happy and she wanted to show me how much she loves the settings. We had our lovely dinner and everything seems right. The food is great except for the chicken chop that was quite salty.. The atmosphere is indulging… The whole things just work fine and I conclude a great birthday prezzie for Syin. Later after the dinner, her dad called and ask her to get home quick for another celebration. Well… We left the things as it is and I send her home as fast as I could.

Today it was a great day for me and it was the most beautiful things as a Christian for the 1st day. I felt Fatherly love the whole day.

Thank you LORD, for sending Syin into my life, to be my companion and cherishing my love. Father of Lord Jesus Christ, please bless Syin with strength she require to live. Bless her with wisdom she needs to be successful. Bless her with strong faith so she will be able to reach out to Glorify You. Thank you LORD. We Praise to You.

I’ve upload the video of the event. Check it out by click here.

11 March 2007 – A meaningful day in my lifetime. (Part 1 of 2)

// March 12th, 2007 // No Comments » // My Journey, Spiritual

*GOT an error for typing it 2006… It should be 2007. Sorry ya…

Having a good morning to meet David Oh for Bible Study, I decided to left early so I won’t be late and able to had breakfast with Syin. It was 8 am and I was woke up by Syin while I sleeping in the guest room after a long night yesterday. She looks so adorable with sleepy eyes and restless body. Immediately I felt a voluptuous life having Syin in my life. I can’t hold down my feelings, I jumped on her for a hug and I tear a little. It was tear full of blessing. I brush up and head to Church to meet David Oh.

We arrived at a Mamak near Sunway Pyramid. I ordered 2 half-boiled eggs, “ Roti Planta Telur Bawang “, nasi lemak and a cup of Teh Tarik. Syin had 1 Thosai and 1 Teh Panas. Amazing HUH! This is just breakfast but this is me. I did that all the time when I am happy and also in extremely good mood.

David arrived later.
David brought along (2) Holy Bible – The New King James Version. He gave it to me and Syin as their gift for our birthday.

* Thank you, David and Shirley *

This is the time where I know I am ready to share good news with him. He was happy that I have finally found my faith in Him. I’ve been visiting St Francis Xavier Church at PJ last time. I just tag along with friend. I had a good impression with the church and I felt quite comfortable with the sermons and songs. She seldom goes often, maybe once in 3 months and then none. That was 2 years ago!

Shirley & David – The endless energetic coupleHistory Time… * YAWN *

Alright this is what happens beforehand, I was chatting with David after he added me to his MSN Messenger contact list. That is when he first introduces me to http://www.chc.org.my. I was amaze with the Church worship spirit and atmosphere, I felt like dropping by to feel the surrounding. Next it was sermon from Keith Tay which talking about “Discovering Destiny”, believe me he just wake me up from dreamland and his words really cause great impact to my life. I also listen sermon from Pastor Kevin talking about “Discovering Destiny”, trust me… I am not exaggerating but Pastor’s sermon had given me faith and courage to attend Saturday night church for the first time at City Harvest Church.

First visit to City Harvest
My first experience with City Harvest Church were amazing. I felt so welcome and the place is a place where I want to be. The security looks serious but helpful, the ushers really puts a smile in our face and most importantly I don’t felt shy being there for the first time, the speakers were just great and the video crew, THUMBS UP… it was up to international professional level. Every staff is working with passion and treats people with compassion.

After a numerous time attending City Harvest Church, I begin felt a strong passion with Lord Jesus Christ. I felt His presence each time I am in church and it grows tremendously each time we Praise the Lord. I thought it was a feeling but it was more than just a feeling… It’s a relationship, a passion connection that starting to grow in me to be closer to Him.

It’s a fate NOT a decision nor feeling
Finally, Today, I am convince that it was not a decision nor a feeling nor a wanting but its a fate that Lord Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Saviour, without this fate I am still a wanderer without guidance. For me willing to be a servant under His Kingdom of Heaven, I felt honored and proud especially to be a part of never stops worshipping God and Lord Jesus Christ… Best known for their noisiness but peaceful in mind and highly spiritual atmosphere Church. Nice group of young leaders and motivational leaders that gives us down to earth faith and courage, I am being blessed and God had been kind to me.

I thank you everyone that influence my life in good terms and I foresee a guided path to success and focus in life. These words had come across to me today by Pastor Kevin.

“Serve people as if serving God”

The best is yet to come

// March 7th, 2007 // No Comments » // Inspiration, My Journey

Today, just the seconds I woke up in the morning at 6:00am. I felt so great and fresh because I made a little prayer during my sleep last night.

The moment I reach my workplace I was 1 hour earlier and I head to my favourite mamak stall to have my usual. I stepped in my office I had the motivation and enthusiasm to work my over dues project but at the same time I had an urge of listening to Church songs. It was then I start looking for GMB band’s song which I heard last time.

I browse, search and download. Finally I manage to obtain almost all their album’s song. Their latest hit song “The Best Is Yet To Come” had really motivates me and set my mind free from lazyness. I can feel the strength, the passion and the faith devoted to the Father Lord.

I wanted the song lyrics and the motivation words from GMB to be my inspiration. So… I design an A4 size with their motivation words with their lyrics so I can view it each time I had depression at work or struggles in life. It clears my mind and strengthens my faith.

I would like to share with you all the design and I hope this helps you to fight anxiety and your problems.

Are you preparing yourself?

// March 5th, 2007 // No Comments » // Inspiration, My Journey, Spiritual

Before You can be a leader, you must learn to be a follower

It changes my mindset and it motivates me when I attend a sermon by Keith Tay, City Harvest Church, Sunway City. During the sermon of “The Season of Life” topic, he asks us a question “Are you preparing yourself?” from through verses in the Bible.

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind. Be sober. And hope to the end. For the grace that is to be brought unto you. At the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1st Peter Chapter 1 Verse 13

I have been bad in management regardless of time, financial, project or even life. I live a life of happy goes lucky. I am very impatient person, I don’t take thing seriously and I had been neglecting unimportant things. I constantly look for easy way out. Today, Keith changes my way of life and gives me a new challenge in managing.

Prepare your mind for action. Be self control.

“I will be prepare and someday my chance will come” Abraham Lincoln

I always understand that success is not easy and to be preparing which I learn years ago when I was a Malaysian Scout, “Selalu Bersedia” (Be Prepare Always). I have forgotten till I heard once again with meaning and answer to my doubts.

Success always comes when opportunity meets preparation
For every minute spend in preparations, an hour is earned
To be prepare is half the victory
If you are not practicing, somebody else is
Someday somewhere he will ready take your job

If you are not practicing..
When problems arise
The weaklings will cry
The efficient instantly find a solution
The wise already have one in reserved
And the wise already prepared

Once again I ask myself… Are you preparing yourself?

Keith shows me more depth example which really reflected my own life where I always compared with others. One example such as…

“When you are in primary or secondary school, I constantly think that I can get better result than this person. It just a matter of weather I wanted to do it OR not. If I do it, I can be better than him. It is just that studying is not my cup of tea. “
Then it reflects the following fact and truth.

FACT : Is weather I want it or not. I just don’t want it.
TRUTH: I didn’t achieve it and you don’t score nor success

It shows me that I am living in denial. I am feeding excuses just to be neglect from my own season of life. That reflects a motivation words;

There is no shortcut for success.

I know this words but I don’t practice it all the time. I will try to use His strength to achieve my short term goal and forget about any shortcut for success.

Are you preparing yourself to be successful? Then Stop feeding EXCUSES.

Keith mentions a type of person which he branded as Last Minute Person. This type of person’s effort to achieve his task will always be merely PASS or OK. The reason is people will have lower expectation because there is no proper preparation.

Being last minute all this time, I face a lot of challenge. Burning midnight oil, frequent small mistakes, stress and trouble social. In my mentality, as long I just meet the dateline, my task is done. I waited for the result and my superior said acceptable. I was so happy.

Is this what you really wanted?

Of course, NO!

Keith said that
God wants us to be EXCELLENT and not just a merely PASS or Average.

Everyone wants to be success but yet there is no one able to execute their planning until last minute. Don’t let people expect less from us. Don’t whine about tough situation which limit your success.

There is no shortcut for success it is a result of preparation, hard work and learning from mistake.

I will be prepare myself for success.

So…

Are you preparing yourself?

Disappointment…

P/S: This post is from my old blog. I would like to elaborate more and some of it is added extra from the original.

It seems that this year I have to skip paintball tournament, I can’t seems to gather a team of dedicated players. It’s hard nowadays to get someone to play such sport and commited to it especially it cost some real cash. Tomorrow is the tournament for 3 on 3 at Taman Desa. I wanted to join but the luck seems not by my side.

I got a call from Daniel Hum (my ex-teammate) saying that he need another team to participant in Open category. I am all in and he manage to get me and Kenneth Tan then later at night he call me up and say that he can’t get more people. So it seems that my hope goes up and then down back. *SIGH*

Picnic trip to Sg Tekala on weekend!

// January 29th, 2007 // No Comments » // My Journey

P/S: This post is from my old blog. I would like to elaborate more and some of it is added extra from the original.

28 JAN 2007: How long ago have you been to picnic since the last time? Or… Have you been to one? I’ve never been to picnic before but instead I’ve been to jungle trekking and camping in the jungle. Nature is always my choice for relaxation and health improvement. Numerous times I tried to influence my friend and try to gather a group for a picnic but it seems that they are not up to the challenge.

This time I never expected Syin loves to picnic as much as I am. Well.. Today we plan to go for a casual picnic which is a last minute decision last night. I pick Syin up at Klang about 11am and then proceed to have breakfast at “Hoi Sin Chu Yok Fan” (Seafood Pork Noodle). It was a GOOD! Breakfast. We bought some snacks from the pastry shop. We bought “Dan Tart” (Egg Tart), “Dau Sar Pan” (Tambun Biskuit) and Pork Siew Pao (Bun stuffed with minced pork and sweet sauce). We also got some ice from 7-11 convenient stores to chill our drinks in the icebox. We have Ribena (Blackcurrant Juice), Cooler Drinks and fruits in the icebox.

The BLUR direction
We had a long journey to Semenyih. We took the MRR2 highway and go towards Cheras and heading KAJANG. I remember we then head to Kajang Silk Highway and paid 2 times toll along this highway. Next we follow the sign written Semenyih and head to a town. Then we turn into a sign showing Nirvana Memorial Park. We pass by the cemetery and approximately 15 minutes we arrived at Sg Tekala.

Arrival @ Sg Tekala
Finally we arrived at Hutan Lipur Sg Tekala at 3 PM. There is quite number of cars parking along the roadside. We packed our stuff and ready to spot a picnic site. This place reminds me of Sg Congkak which once I had camping and jungle trekking since my younger days. It had similar layout and pathway. This place has the basic necessity for the public such as changing room, toilets, proper walking path and resting hut. The water somehow is not as dirty as I thought it would be. It is still clean and cold.

Spot a picnic stop
During our walking deep into the place, we saw a lot of people playing and relaxing near the waterfall. Syin and I would like to see a higher waterfall so we decide to walk as far as we can, at the same time we can also try to spot a nice place where there is not many people around. Finally we reached to a blocked path and ruined resting hut and to further our journey is going to be difficult as there is no proper pathway and we are not on long pants. We decided to stop and we found a big rock in the middle of the river. That’s it! That’s our picnic spot!

The Moment
I had the best time in my life that my desire to picnic for many years had come alive. The sound of nature, inhaling fresh air and cold running water which never stop… Gives me the ultimate relaxation and it does rejuvenate my soul. We spend time together, chatting heart to heart and splashing water. Although it took us 15 minute to walk from entrance to this spot and almost take my breath away but everything is worthwhile the moment we share to experience such beautiful picnic.

Leaving Sg Tekala
When we finish our picnic snacks, we decided to leave at 6 PM before the sunsets. We saw lots of monkey when we left the place. Too bad I don’t have my camera else I love to record their playful act. We head to our car park not far from the entrance and getting ready to go for dinner. We suppose to have dinner at this place called Broga Recretional Fishing Park. They serve the best Grill fish wrap in aluminum foil. Unfortunately they close at 7 PM and we can’t make it in time. Then we decided to have dinner in Kajang Town to have their famous satay. We tried to get the best stall but unfortunately we unable to call my friend Louise. *SIGH*. Finally we decided to try the one called “Sate Kajang”. Not bad after all, they have the following meat for us to choose.

• Arnab (Rabbit)
• Daging (Beef)
• Rusa (Deer)
• Ayam (Chicken)
• Ikan (Fish)
• Kambing (Lamb)

We selected 20 sticks in mixed meat of Ayam, Kambing, Arnab and Rusa. We add two plate of ketupat (rice wrap in pandan leaves in the shape of square). Their drink selection is not much interesting and I would highly recommend not their Hot Selection, perhaps whole coconut drink is best goes with your food. The bill cost me around RM 40.

This is the best moment in my life that I am able to experience nature once again after my younger days. Thanks Syin for able to make this happen once again in my life. NOW! I am going to influence others to join me for my next trip to Sg Congkak. Gonna BBQ there too.. Want to eat jungle cooking food. Roti Lilit.. Ayam Pangang.. Nasi Buluh.. WAH!!!!

THANK YOU LORD FOR BEING KIND TO ME.

Disappointment OR Thankful?

// January 19th, 2007 // No Comments » // My Journey

P/S: This post is from my old blog. I would like to elaborate more and some of it is added extra from the original.

Well… I’ve blog about “Mixed Feeling Weekend”. This is the same story but not the whining part.

How does disappointment happen?
Well.. It started when I am on my way to Klang to celebrate CWChoi’s Birthday. I got a phone call from Theodric telling me that my Ex-GF is going tonight. I was speechless and trauma for awhile. I really wasn’t expecting this because they never told me earlier and I am not prepared for this. I am very disappointed and had to tell him that I am not going to join them. I had my own reason for not going while I should be there.

I am not giving in to her for not going, instead I am just not in the right emotional to accept her as a friend and hang out as a friend. I need time to able to draw a line between her and me. Just like my friend Steven, he can’t attend the party for the same reason like mine.

Da Best I can do
I am going to send over the cake I bought for CWChoi to the restaurant. Here is the funny part that is.. I forgot the restaurant name and I forgot the area name. I call them up and ask for direction but they gave me funny routes. I suppose to go Tg Harapan but ended up in Westport Entrance. Finally I reached the restaurant after driving around Klang for 1 hour. It was Port Village Seafood Restaurant that I suppose to dining.

What’s next?
I was with Syin the whole journey. You can see how I know her in my previous blog about “Trick-my-friend while meeting a new friend”. I am hungry and disappointed so I went dinner with Syin. She brought me to this place not far from Port Village Seafood Restaurant. This place is famous for its ikan bakar (Smoked Fish). This place is owned by a Malay owner. The environment is great and this is the place I learn something new and I found a great friend that understands my emotion and feelings.

Should I be thankful for the disappointment?
Syin can sense that I am very unhappy and sad. She does understand how I felt. Here is some small things that she does that I realized how caring person she was.

  • I was sitting facing the Port Village Seafood Restaurant. I admit I had a bit of distraction and was imagining what was going on over there. I can felt the sadness building up from my heart. Out of sudden, Syin was a bit fierce and command me to sit the other side next to her. I was kinda surprised and puzzled but naturally I obey her command and sit facing the port.
  • She kept chatting with me about lots of thing. That is where I found out that she share lots of same interest with me. We share a lot of laughter together and that is where I found out that she is trying to entertain me from thinking about the disappointment.
  • It was raining very heavily and we were sitting in the car hoping that the rain to slow down before we leave the place because the place is dark and hardly any street lights. She motivates me and changes my perception towards all the disappointment and this is where the time we really speak heart to heart. I pour down everything and she is a good listener and she responded well.

YES! I am thankful that I found someone who understands what I felt deep down inside and giving me positive response. I valued our relationship and I am ready for any upcoming event and I learn to move on.

It’s a great weekend in the end. Thanks You Lord that You’ve been kind to me. I had learn the greatness in You.
